Yol Edochie is a Nigerian actor. He is from Anambra State Nigeria, the son of Nigerian legendary actor Pete Edochie. He was raised in Lagos and Enugu State Nigeria. He is the last of eight children. He got married at the age of 22. He attended the university of Port Harcourt, were received a bachelor of arts in dramatic arts.
Yul Edochie got married at a very young age to May Aligwe, together they have four children, three boys and a girl. He joined Nollywood in 2005 in his first movie titled Exquires. He got his breakthrough in 2007 after featuring along side Desmond Eliot and Genevieve Nnaji in a movie titled Wind of Glory.
Yul Edochie has won the City People's Entertainment Awards as the best new actor of the year, he also won Pamsaa awards as the best actor. He has been nominated in other several awards including the Nollywood movies awards.
