
Nigeria’s superstar singer, Wizkid a.k.a Starboy has recently won the 2021 NAACP image award for his collaboration on Brown Skin Girl with Beyonce, Saint Jhn and Blue-Ivy Carter, making it his second.
At the 52nd National Association for Advancement of Colored People(NAACP) Image Award which took place on the 26th of March, 2020, Brown Skin Girl was announced the "OUTSTANDING MUSIC VIDEO/VISUAL ALBUM" of the year, making it Wizkid's second time of getting an NAACP award.
Other nominations for the award include "Anything for you" by Ledisi, "Do it" by Chloe x Halle and "I can't breathe" by H.E.R.

Wizkid became the first Nigerian artist to win the award with his collaboration on the same song by Beyonce in 2020, earning him "OUTSTANDING DUO, GROUP OR COLLABORATION" award.
This feat is coming few weeks after his collaborative effort on the same song earned him his first Grammy award in 2021for the "Best Music video" category.
This is indeed an incredible feat for Wizkid and his fans.
