The story of Kyle who faced similar Harsh words that the young boy faced in the hands of Seyi Shay.

Seyi Shay came under heavy criticism over her harsh remarks to a 17 year old boy who auditioned for the Nigerian Idol.


I believe that those remarks by Seyi shay were not good but let us view those remarks from the positive angle of it.


We have seen a lot of instances of people who were talked down and told you are not good enough for this and they went home, improved themselves and returned back to prove that they could do it.


Kyle Tomlinson is one of those individual. He was one of the contestants who auditioned at the Britain Got Talent Series 8 at the age of 12. After what he thought was a very brilliant performance, David Williams told him in clear terms "I think you need to go away and maybe work with a singing teacher or something"

Kyle Tomlinson then went on a 3 years singing course and improved himself massively. By the time he returned to Series 11 in 2017, Kyle amazed the judges. The good news was that David Williams was present while the young boy who was 15 at that time gave a very glorious rendition of Hallelujah by Leonard Cohen. This performance got him a standing ovation by not just the crowd but also the four judges including David. David in his remark after the rendition said "I thought it was really good and pressed the golden buzzer. David also went out and hugged the young boy. The young boy went on and on till the final.

His story is to inspire that young boy, he has the talent and all he has to do is to improve on it.
