Nigerians have sadly witnessed the death of some great entertainers this year alone. These people played a huge impact in the the film industry, and they will be greatly missed.

He was said to be a broadcaster who as well acted films. He worked in the Nigerian Television Authority. And incidently, he won an "Africa movie academy award" for playing the best role in “Inspector Waziri” .
Sadly, he was diagnosed in 2017 of Leukemia and Prostrate cancer. Due to this, funds were being raised by several Nigerians, to help support him.
By the 3rd of March 2021, Sadiq was pronounced dead at "Ayinke general hospital, Ikeja".
Bruno Iwuoha was a prestigious and well known Nigerian actor, who happened to have won the "best supporting actor award at the 3rd Africa movie academy awards". His outstanding performance was due to the movie he starred in, called “Sins of the Flesh”.
On the 10th of April 2021, his life ended at the age of 69.
Abiodun Aleja was a producer, actor and movie director. He has produced and directed several movies while collaborating with the national theater in Lagos.
Some of his great works were "October 1, Don’t Live Here Anymore, and Sade". Aleja unfortunately died on the 21st of May 2021.
Rachel Oniga played a major role in the movie industry in Nigeria. Her acting career kicked off in 1993, not too long after her divorce.
The talented actress starred in movies such as“Onome” and her Yoruba movie, titled “Owo Blow” . She also featured in films such as the well known TV series, “Superstory” and the movie “Sango” .
Oniga's death was a great shook and was due to heart related issues. This all took place on the 30 of July. She passed away at the age of 64.
