
The Nigerian singer and rapper, Damini Ebunoluwa Ogulu popularly known as Burna boy was on Sunday 14 March, accepted the Best Global Music Album award for "Twice as Tall" at the Grammy Awards 2021.
Following his victory, he was congratulated by many prominent Nigerians both within and outside the diaspora.
Burna Boy after the award ceremony dedicated his speech to all Africans. He thanked all his friends and every single person that worked on the project. He encouraged all the youths in one of his tweets that read;
"when you know yourself. Nobody can tell you about yourself. Know yourselves and never go against yourself.

In another tweet he said; "God is most definitely not a man. I will never forget how so many of you prayed that I don't win. Too dump to understand that you also win if I win. No worry, this is just the beginning. God is Great.
