Blood they say is thicker than water. However, that does not seem to be the case in a recent incident where a young Nigerian man had reportedly become the subject of abuse by his own father, after he failed to pay a debt he owed.
According to a popular online blog that shared the story on Instagram, the victim who is a 20 year old identified as Collins Joshua was allegedly victimized by one Otuagomah (his father) after refusing to pay the sum of N50,000 which was owed to him.
Sources reveal that Initially his father had the boy arrested by the police, however after succumbing to pressure to have his son released due to a mental challenge he took the boy home; only to have him chained to a water tank. see the condition the poor boy was found by a good samaritan who claimed that he was chained to the water tank for 5 days without food or water!
