Nkechi Blessing Falegan, a Nollywood Announced That she is not ashamed of being the breadwinner for her family.
She announced on Saturday via her verified Instagram page, one month after her mother died.
The actress lost her mother a few days before her mother's birthday, and the funeral was held last week.
Nkechi recently posted about her grief and promised to keep fighting for her family.
"I lost my best friend exactly one month ago today," she said. 23 09 2021 is a date I will never forget. Mummy, you were my rock.
"I recall you calling me on the 19th and saying a short prayer that touched my heart." Did you know you'd be leaving on the 23rd? Only God knows, but I swear to uphold your legacy.
"Mummy, you taught me how to hustle like a man, which is why many people doubt my age, because I appear older due to the hustle and bustle."
"I took all the insults on the gram so you wouldn't be short on anything." When you died, I was rendered ineffective for several weeks. But you told me, 'Nkechi, stand up.' 'Don't let my family name go down in history like that.' I have a large family to look after.
"Yes, I am the breadwinner for my family, a position I am neither ashamed nor afraid to hold." Because I have diligently carried it for years and ensured that neither my extended family nor I are in need.
"I don't have it all together, but God somehow manages to bless me for me to be a blessing to everyone around me."
"It's strange how the UK visa I applied for months ago came out the day after you passed; implying you want this man for me."
"'Nkechi, no leave this man, a better person,' you said yourself. Stay with me no matter what he's up to.
