While discussing with Chude Jideonwo on why young people of today just want to succeed without putting in the work, Nigerian TV and Radio presenter, Toke Makinwa spoke on the struggle of the superstar singer before he came into the spotlight.

According to the presenter, when Wizkid was an upcoming artiste, he was a studio rat at the Rhythm FM and was always around to carry speakers for the Disc Jockeys. He was also sent on errands to buy Amala for them which he did all because he wanted them to play his songs on the radio station.
She also added that people never knew the struggle the singer went through before becoming who he is today. The presenter's revelation has generated lot of reactions from fans around the country
In response to Toke's claim of him being a studio rat and being sent on errand to buy 'Amala' the superstar artiste dropped a photo on his social media page where he wrote "everybody dey mad ".
