Richard Mofe-Damijo (RMD) is one of the admirable and unique actors in Nollywood that everyone wants to associate with not just because of his handsomeness as man, but for his exceptional lifestyles as a role model, an achiever and a big brother in the industry.
Richard Mofe Damijo started his acting career in the year 1980 and he has featured in so many movies that are award-winning and unique by all standards. Some of such films he featured are Diamond Ring, The Wedding, The Wedding Party 2, 10 Days In Sun City, and many more. He is an actor par excellence.
He was born on the 6th of July 1961 in Aladja, Delta State, Nigeria. He had his University education at the University of Benin where he studied Theatre Arts, he then proceeded to study Law at the University of Lagos in 1997 and he finished from there in 2004.
Richard Mofe Damijo, lost his first wife in the year 1996 by the name Mary Ellen Ezekiel (MEE) whose was a popular publisher and journalist.
Some years after the death of his first wife, he got married to his second wife who was a journalist as well as a presenter on Africa Independent Television (AIT). RMD got married to his beautiful and hardworking wife, Jumobi Adegbesan on the 29th December 2000.
The marriage of this Nollywood veteran is such an adorable one to all that cherish sweet family. RMD's marriage with Jumobi will be up to two decades by December. This achievement is a landmark achievement despite the various challenges, rumors, and different crushes on him, he and his lovely wife are still together up till now.
The family is blessed with four charming children which are two boys and two girls. The first two children were from the first marriage with his first wife Mary.
By the same token, in 2013, Oghenekome who is his first son got married to a charming lady called Eniola. They both got to meet each other from the same church, House of God, pastored by Rev. Chris Okotie. The wedding was attended by the high and mighty in Delta state and in Nollywood. Recall, during this period, was the time Richard Mofe Damijo was the Commissioner for Culture and Tourism in Delta State.
Presently, RMD is a grandfather of lovely and adorable grandchildren. Kome and Eniola have given birth to two adorable children that are doing well health-wise and in all spheres.
