Over the weekend, the maiden edition of the Eko star Film and TV awards held in Lagos State, as top celebrity actresses came out in style for the award ceremony, the award which was set up to recognise the considerable accomplishment of women in the film and Television industry in Nigeria had so many of them in attendance winning in different categories.
One of the brain behind the event who is also a female, and a media mogul Mo Abudu flooded her timeline with series of pictures of the awardees from the ceremony, as they were presented with their awards in style. Sharing some of the pictures on her page on Wednesday, excited Mo Abudu congratulated the winners.
In one of the captions she said " I celebrate these exceptional women in our actors with impact category that joined us at the Eko star Film & TV awards. Some of the winners are Toyin Abraham, Kate Henshaw, Ini Edo, Joke Silva, Shaffy Bello, Dakore Akande, Nse Etim, Uche Jimbo, Zainab Balogun, Sandra Okunzuwa, Nancy Isime, Ijeoma Onyeator of Channels Television and many others.
