His leading role in Ishola Durojaya 's 2003 film, Asiri Gomina Was, has gained popularity and has been involved since then in many Nollywood films.He is Chief Executive Officer of Odunlade Adekola Film Production.He 's married to Ruth Adekola.
Odunlade Adekola invested #40 million on his hotel project Abeokuta, according to recent estimates. It was pointed out that he could acquire money from sponsorship deals to create such a palatable hotel. As a man of focus and high self esteem, He is an Ambassador of Globacom and is a core member of the state government of Ogun.
