Alhaji Abass Akande popularly known as Obesere and Alhaji Saheed Okunola simply known as Saheed Osupa are two of the most talented Fuji artistes Nigeria has seen. The two of them have greatly contributed to taking Fuji music to the centre stage that it is currently occupying amongst the diverse genres of music in the country. And, there is no way the history of Fuji music would ever be written without both Obesere and Saheed Osupa taking up a chapter or two, in it.

Interestingly, there are at least 5 things the two Fuji music stars have in common that many people may not have thought about. So, in this piece, this writer would point out to you 5 things Obesere and Saheed Osupa have in common. To start with, both Obesere and Saheed Osupa are Kings in their own rights as far as music is concerned. Because, just like Obesere is known, and relish to be referred to as the Paramount King of Music (PK1st) by his teeming fans, Saheed Osupa too is known, and usually referred to as the King of Music, just as he was once pronounced to be, by the Fuji music creator, Alhaji Sikiru Ayinde Barrister, before he died.

Secondly, both Obesere and Saheed Osupa are from the same home town. And where is that? The two of them are from Ibadan in Oyo State. And interestingly, they can both claim to have come from the town where the source of Fuji came from. How? Sikiru Ayinde Barrister is the source of Fuji, and he hailed from Ibadan too. The third thing Obesere and Saheed Osupa have in common is that, they both own houses in Lagos State. Obesere owns his house in Okota where he lives, and Saheed Osupa owns his house in Magodo, where he lives too.

Fourthly, Obesere and Saheed Osupa both have two top Yoruba broadcasters who are closely associated to them. And, they are the duo of Olusoji Omotayo (SOJ), and Yomi Mate popularly known as Ifankealleluyah. SOJ is an Obesere's man to the core in the broadcast media. As a matter of fact, he once anchored an Obesere sponsored programme on television known as "Obesere Half Hour" which was centered on Obesere's music career. And, Ifankealleluyah on his own part hardly presents any of his numerous radio programmes without promoting Saheed Osupa on the programmes, exceptionally. So, everyone knows SOJ is for Obesere, and Ifankealleluyah is Saheed Osupa core man in broadcasting industry.

And, the number 5 thing they have in common is that they both have their real age hidden from the public. Unlike most other Fuji music stars, no one can tell for certain that, Obesere or Saheed Osupa is of any particular age. The much the public know about their respective age has been a guess, not certainty. The real age is actually known just to either of them, as against the actual age of most of the other Fuji music stars that the people know for certain.
