Poachers (illegal hunters) are frequently hunting for elephant tusks. In as much as their actions are illegal it is not done for nothing or something meager. The elephant tusk is made up of a very useful matter known as Ivory. Ivory is the white substance that build up and grow into the long and huge elephant tusks.

The material is known for its long lasting capabilities and this is why Elephant tusks are used for making different kinds of arts, jewelry and accessories. The tusk of a matured elephant is sold for the nothing less than 1500 dollars (N614000 Naira).
