1. "Zuge" Crossbow:
More than two thousand years ago, this weapon was created in China. This was probably the first rapid fire weapon in history, even though the people were still far from the invention of bullets and other cool gizmos. The working principle of this weapon is very simple. The efficiency of a soldier in battle depends on how much shells he can fire. This crossbow made the Chinese warriors back then more efficient due to the fact that the action of stringing the bow string, placing the projectile and lowering the bowstring could be done with one hand. This special cross bow is able to fire about 7 to 10 arrows in 15 to 20 seconds, as compared to the normal medieval crossbow which can only shoot about between 3 to 6 in one minute, or about 10 in the hands of an experienced archer.
2. Hydraulic hammer:
Water plus gravity are the perfect combination for agricultural work. The flowing water turns the logs and the hammers fall under the influence of gravity, crushing the grains under it. This method of crushing grains is very effective as the machine can work for a very long time and does not require any labour. The machine is also very effective as one hammer can replace and do the work of ten men. This machine for crushing grains, which is over 2000 years old is something that is too advanced for its time.
This ship was created under the order of Pharaoh the fourth, and the ship was so large that some scientists even doubt the existence of the ship. It supposedly was 130 metres long, 20 metres wide, 25 metres high and completely made of wood. This was the largest ship in history and was built to demonstrate the wealth and power of the Egyptians.
4. Ancient Swiss army knife:
The knife was actual created by a roman craftsman. It includes a spoon, a fork, a knife, a spatula and some other components, everything a traveler needed in ancient times. Unlike the modern swiss army knife, the ancient version emphasized the status of the owner because not everyone could eat on the road while traveling, not alone with proper cutlery.
