First if all, use essential oils like lavender, peppermint, citronella and lemon eucalyptus.

These oils have been proven to be effective in naturally repelling mosquitoes from you since they can keep you oiled for long and prevent sweats from coming out. Mosquitoes may not be able to detect the oil from meters away unlike your sweat. You can decide to apply the oil to your skin directly, to your clothes, or burning incense that contains these oils.

Secondly, you can use mosquito-repelling plants like citronella, lavender, basil, lemon grass and peppermint.

You can decide to have these plants close to your windows and doors, or have them in your gardens since these plants have mosquito-repelling properties in them. You can as well decide to put them in pots and keep around your bedroom or close to your bed.

Thirdly, you can use garlic as it has been shown to have mosquito-repelling properties due to it's pungent smell.

You can use garlic in your meals and drink juice made from it, or use garlic supplements. This is good to your health in general and can aid to naturally prevent mosquitoes from you. You can as well use other natural remedies like apple cider vinegar to repel mosquitoes. Mix the apple cider vinegar with water and use it to gently massage your skin.

Before all of these can be effective, it is important you note that mosquitoes survive more in swampy areas and mostly lay their eggs in water logged areas. Try taking care of any standing water close to your house and close every pots and buckets containing water regularly. Also, you can use mosquito nets or sleep in long sleeves, socks and gloves to naturally prevent mosquitoes. Just do whatever you can to stay away from mosquito bites.

In conclusion, the natural remedy for keeping mosquitoes away from you that we just discussed above may not be as effective as the commercial, but it is safer for your health purpose.
