Popular Nigerian media personality, Aproko Doctor has taken to his official Twitter handle to narrate what happened after he stopped at a zebra crossing to allow two persons to cross the road. Aproko Doctor explained via his Twitter handle that he waited at a zebra crossing to allow a girl and her friend to cross the road but a bike man did something which is wrong.
Aproko Doctor said that the bike man did not wait for the two persons to cross; he cleared them and took off. Fortunately, Aproko Doctor said that the two persons are physically alright but they sustained bruises.
Legally, if pedestrians want to cross the road and they stand on the zebra crossing, the best thing that other road users are expected to do is to wait for the pedestrians to cross then they can continue with their movement.
A user whose username is "Onye Igbo" reacted that the bang he received on his boot just for obeying traffic sign left me speechless. Another user whose username is "Ebuka Samuel" reacted that we have to rebuild and strengthen our legal system because many people do not understand the implications of abusing laws. Read the reactions below.
What are your thoughts concerning how the bike man abused the traffic rules and regulations?
