The Sahara Reporters has disclosed a report reaching them from a source, Mutiu Adetoro, that 2 Hunters who were coming back from hunting were allegedly shot dead in the bush by some Fulani herders on Tuesday.
Following the recent conflicts, banditry and crises recorded in the country, the Commandant General of the Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps, (NSDC) Ahmed Audi had spoken concerning the conflict and the activities of bandits in the country, during the training workshop for state commandants of the NSCDC in Abuja.
According to Channels Television, the NSCDC Boss said that the Bandits operating in Nigeria have international sponsors, as he urges for a collaborative effort among officers in order to win the war against banditry.
We Want Bandits To Repent - El-Rufai
The Governor of Kaduna State has Nasir El-Rufai of Kaduna had stated in a meeting held by the state security council in Kaduna State that they want the bandits to repent.
According to Peoples Gazette, the Governor added that it is not their duty to make the bandits to repent, pinpointing that Private individuals in their different abilities like clerics and clergymen can engage with the bandits, and preach to them to repent.
