Whenever we hear about plastic or cosmetic surgery, many things come to our minds. We think about the gorgeous women who came out confidently to talk about their journeys and experiences in the world of cosmetic surgery, and we have the women who have decided to keep mum about it just because they are scared of being judged.
People have different views about plastic surgery, some people love it but cannot do it, while some people do not love it and also speak against it. According to the common comments we hear about cosmetic surgery, anyone who does the surgery does not appreciate his or her natural body and is probably committing sin.
But the big question here is, is cosmetic surgery really horrible, is the procedure unacceptable? Before I provide my answers to these questions, we must clearly understand that cosmetic surgery is not just about enhancing people's bodies alone.
This procedure has saved many lives too. For example, there are some people who were unfortunately involved in fire incidents, plane and even car crashes, these people often end up with damaged body parts, especially their skin and the only way to rectify their damages is through cosmetic surgeries.
I believe at this point you are already seeing the unpopular good side of cosmetic surgery. If we could appreciate the work of cosmetic surgery in the repair of body damages, then I see no reason why we should not appreciate the same procedure in the enhancement of beauty or someone's body. It is not a crime to look good, as long as it does not affect the next person negatively.
In my opinion, plastic or cosmetic surgery is never bad or unacceptable because it is a procedure that brings the best out of people's bodies when done correctly. Looking at gorgeous women like Tonto Dikeh, Mercy Eke, Tacha and Toke Makinwa, one would have every reason to believe that cosmetic surgery is never bad and the people going for the procedure should never be judged for their decisions.
