4 Natural Ways to Lighten Your Underarms, Elbow, Knees and Ankles.

No matter how we try to do our daily cleansing routine, dirt's still find a way to settle on our elbows, ankles, and underarms. Here are some natural ways to lighten our underarms, elbow, knees and Ankles.

1. Baking Soda and curd: Baking soda helps in removing dead skin cells and curd helps to keep the skin smooth and moisturized. It also helps to remove sunburn. For those with oily skin sour curd is preferable.

For Curd and Baking Soda: Take 1 tablespoon each and mix to form a paste. Apply it on your knees, elbows, and under arm for two to 3 mins and leave the paste for 10mins wash it off with lukewarm water and you will see result as you do it continuously for 1 month.

2. Apple Cider Vinegar: Apple cider vinegar is made by fermenting the sugar from apples. This turns them into acetic acid, which is a main active ingredient in vinegar and may be responsible for its health benefits.

Apple Cider Vinegar is rich in acetic acid which is an excellent bleaching agent which helps in lightening the skin shade.

Method: Mix Apple Cider Vinegar and water each 1 tablespoon in a bowl. Apply it on the dark places on your knees and elbows with a cotton wool. Then leave it for 10 mins and rinse with water. Use it every alternate day for a week till you see a difference.

3.Strawberry: Strawberries are fruits and can be used as toppings for some our breakfast foods such as milk toast, oat meal, pancake, French toast. Strawberries restores and smoothens the skin. It helps tone the skin and has some bleaching properties but mild.

Method: Get a handful of strawberries,mash it and extract the juice. You can also add the leaves too to make it effective when mashing the fruit. After the mashing process, apply it to our knees and elbows. Leave it for 10mins and wash with water. Do this daily and see better results.

4. Tumeric, Honey mask and gram flour: Tumeric is traditionally used to brighten the skin and can also aid in weight loss too.

Method: Mix 1/2 teaspoon of tumeric, 1/4 teaspoon of honey mask and 1tablespoon of gram flour together to form a paste. Apply the paste to the dark areas on elbows and knees. Leave it for 10-15mins, then rinse with water and moisturize. Always do this daily to achieve better results.
