Beauty can manifest itself in a variety of ways. What one person sees attractive or lovely in another is purely subjective, but how do the perceptions of beauty differ from country to country or culture to culture? Is what is beautiful in Italy the same as what is beautiful in Mexico?
What are the "ideal" or "perfect" female body types in different parts of the world?
The people at Superdrug Online Doctors were curious about the solution to that query. To accomplish so, they organized a survey in which they commissioned graphic artists from 18 nations to participate in their investigation into global conceptions of beauty.
Large breasts, tight waists, and skinny legs are obviously the first things that come to mind when picturing an ideal woman's figure, right? That's because men have been reinforcing that notion throughout history.
Ten years ago in the United States, low rise jeans and being slim was the "it" fashion. However, as women like Kate Upton, Kim Kardashian and others had an effect through movies, TV, music videos, and social media, the ideal "thin" body type went out of vogue; people now rave over being curvy or slender thick - meaning having a small waist and a huge butt.
What is the definition of a perfect woman?
The "ideal" lady is attractive, intelligent, honest, energetic, amusing, and caring. However, societal standards dictate that this ideal lady have specific physical characteristics, such as large eyes, long hair, a slim waist, and so on.
Fortunately, some men consider the perfect woman as someone who is self-assured and proud of her appearance; in fact, this makes women more appealing to men. While some men are exclusively interested in women with a certain physique type, keep in mind that you don't need a man who makes you feel insecure.
