1. Honey

• Mix honey with chandalwood, cream, chickpea flour and rose oil.

• Apply the mixture to your face.

• Allow the mixture to dry up on your face and peel it off afterwards. This removes any facial impurity and makes the skin smooth and soft.

2. Turmeric

This has been reported to be quite some helpful skin care ingredient and it is not alien to the Indian people. It helps to remove stretch marks

How to use:

• Mix turmeric jelly with chickpea flour.

• Apply in the affected parts of the skin.

Turmeric has also been found to remove wrinkles on the face. This can be achieved by mixing rice powder, raw milk tomato juice and turmeric jelly. Apply the mixture on your face and allow it to dry up. Peel off after it dries.

3. Sandalwood

Sandalwood has been found to possess some antiseptic properties that can cleanse the skin and remove impurities. It can equally give your skin a glowing tone.

How to use:

• Mix sandalwood with raw milk and apply to your face.

• Wash it off after 20 minutes

4. Gram flour

This is common in India because of its helpfulness in skin care.

How to use:

•Take 4 – 5 powdered almonds, lemon juice and 1 teaspoon of milk.

•Mix all these with besan to form a paste.

•Apply it on your face and keep it for 30 minutes before washing

5. Curd

Curd is the thick substance that is formed when milk turns sour. Zinc present in curd makes it a helpful face food. It increases the sheen of the hair.

How to use:

• Take lemon juice, eggs and honey and make a rich paste.

• Mix the paste with curd and apply to your hair.

• Wash your hair after 30 minutes.
