As a short girl myself, I can tell you that it is hard to shop at boutiques because it seems like all the clothes have been tailored especially for tall girls. This is why whenever I go shopping, I always have an idea of exactly what I want. If you feel the same way when you go shopping for clothes, here are the top tips that helped me;
1. Shop for clothes that have vertical stripes instead of horizontal stripes. Horizontal stripes make you look wide and fat while vertical stripes create an elongating effect making you look taller.
2. When shopping for jeans go for straight leg jeans. Most time you might want to opt for mom jeans because they are comfy to wear but these can make you look shorter. Instead pick up a pair of straight leg jeans, these jeans are free around the knee and ankles so they will be very comfortable to wear whilst making you look taller.
3. Crop tops are your best friend as a short girl. Crop tops also have an elongating effect especially when paired with a pair of high-waisted jeans.
4. Shop for dresses that end right above the knee. This will show off your beautiful legs and make you look taller.
