THESE ARE THE STEPS, PROCEDURES, INGREDIENTS ON HOW TO MAKE SOAP
INGREDIENTS
Castic soda
Distilled water/ Ordinary Water
Lotion Oil, perfume and Colouring
MATERIAL REQUIRED
1. Hand Gloves
2. Stainless/Utensils (Spoons, metal bowl, measuring cups)
3. Hand towels
INGREDIENTS CALCULATION: This is the amount of the Ingredients needed in the process of making soap
1 cup of Number 1= #500
1 cup of caustic soda = #500
1 cup of Lotion oils = #250
1 cup of Perfume = #500
1 cup of Coloring = #250
STEP/PROCEDURE TO MAKE SOAP
STEP1: Set up a workspace for the soap making for ever soap makers, the area where the soap is making must be provided before aimed to be making soap. The reason is that the place must be a safety place where children (underage) must not be allowed to enter, also entirely the place must be well ventilated/Opened Area because most ingredients contain chemical substances and they need certain temperature for them to be combined proportionally. Also for your health (especially for your eye and respiratory organs)
STEP 2: GATHER ALL THE INGREDIENTS TOGETHER
Soap is made from oils, caustic soda and water. When these materials are being combined together they form softened/hardened soap at a certain soap.
STEP 3: PRECAUTION TO BE TAKEN WHEN MAKING SOAP
1. When making soaps hand gloves must be wear
2. Prevent caustic soda from being touch your skin to prevent skin burning.
3. Work in a well ventilated area to avoid breathing in fumes
STEP 4: MIXING THR INGREDIENTS
Mixing the ingredients to give total amount is determined on how many bottle of soap you want to make. Assuming For 10 to 25 bottles of soap
PROCEDURE:
1. Firstly, Find a Large bowl/bucket where you will mixed number 1 and caustic soda stickly with a long wooden stick, stirr it continuously for about 3-5 minutes.
2. After sometimes, you will now pour perfumes, Lotion oils and coloring to it, stirr them continuously with the mixture of number 1 and caustic soda ( that have been mixed already), it will give moisty, sticky substance as the total outcome.
3. Now, Put water about 5 litres & above to the mixture solution, stirr it vigorously and continuously.
4. You will now used something (like lylon or round covering materials) to cover the surface of the solutions and leave it for sometimes to rise up and increase in volume.
5. After you have follow the procedure above, and thoroughly the solutions would have been soapy (moisty, greasy and sticky). This indicate that you have successfully make the soap.
After, you will now find some plastic bottles (60cl & above) where you will fetch soap into them one and another.
STEP 5: SELLING ASPECT
Your selling rate is depend on how you want to lay your own prize down. It depends on how processing you undergoes while making the soap.
