Check Out Kofoworola Adebutu’s Multi-million Dollars Baguette Cut Diamond Encrusted Watch

+ How Baba Ijebu’s Youngest Wife Stole The Thunder At Okoya’s 80th Birthday Party

The recent 80th birthday celebration of Aare Rasaq Akanni Okoya, the billionaire manufacturing and property magnate could be likened to the Oscars red carpet, where celebrities, clad in the finest apparels and dripping of the most exotic diamonds, come out to showcase their fashion and style pedigree before the entire world.

The colour dictate for the guests was white. The female guests pepped up their white apparels with white and gold aso-oke, which was supplied by Joke Okeowo.

Predictably, the women strove to outshine one another in the jewelry department. The arrays of high-end jewelry worn by the women at Okoya’s high octane birthday party will make even the diamond dealers at the Antwerpen diamond market green with envy.

One of the best dressed young female guests at the party was Temitope Kofoworola, the wife of billionaire businessman, lotto magnate and philanthropist - Chief Adebutu Kessington, the Odole Oodua. She arrived at the party and stole the thunder from the other female guests.

As Kofoworola sashayed her way into the venue, her choice of diamond jewelry caught the attention of some guests. Her diamond encrusted watch, elegantly strapped on her wrist, attracted an eye-popping and jaw-dropping admiration from most fashion enthusiasts at the party. The sheer beauty of the watch was captured by Segun Lawal, the ace photographer at Ovation International Media. It was a breguet haute joaillerrie flower full baguette cut colourless diamond encrusted wrist watch. The bezel of the watch looked very much like a craftsmanship from De Grisogono, the swanky Swiss jeweler, who is often referred to as the king of black diamonds. However, after a more detailed look at the pictures of the wrist watch, some celebrated diamond graders and wrist watch aficionados are putting a bet that Kofoworola’s breguet haute joaillerrie baguette cut colourless diamond encrusted wrist watch must have been custom-made. First, the model of the watch is not recognizable. Also, it must have been specifically created to match her jewelry.

From New York to Rome, Beirut, London, Florence gold market and even the Gold Souk in Dubai, jewelers are known to oblige their clients’ requests for custom-made time pieces, to suit their specific tastes and budgets. The size of Kofoworola’s baguette cut diamonds are quite huge and so would most likely be a VS 2 grade of diamonds. The bezel of her wrist watch is tiered up in multiple layers, giving it a very conspicuous face. If such a factory diamond encrusted watch were to come from the likes of Patek Philippe, Chopard, Cartier, Rolex, Franck Muller or any other recognizable jeweler, the price will be in the region of $300k (N108 million). However, according to diamond graders, when a watch is custom-made for a client, it can cost as much as the client can afford. Findings by The ELITES also revealed that Kofoworola’s baguette cut colourless diamond encrusted wrist watch is pegged at a pricey sum of $100k (N36 million) or less. The expensive and luxury time piece, worn by Kofoworola at the Okoya’s party is said to be a gift from her 84-year old billionaire husband.

A graduate of Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ago-Iwoye, Ogun state, Kofoworola holds the chieftaincy title of Otun Yeye Oge of Lagos. She is mainly charged with taking care of her husband, and she never flounders in discharging this duty ever since she got married and became the apple of the eyes to the prominent philanthropist. Kofoworola is blessed with a captivating beauty, an attribute which was said to have magnetised the Ijebu chief the first time they met. The billionaire magnate was so fond of his youngest wife that he refers to her as the tonic, who keeps him young at heart.
