Meet Linda Evangelista, The Canadian Model Who Was Left Deformed After A Cosmetic Procedure

The Canadian model opened up about why she stepped away from the spotlight for the past few years. She wrote, "To my followers who have wondered why I have not been working while my peers' careers have been thriving, the reason is that I was brutally disfigured by Zetiq's CoolSculpting procedure which did the opposite of what it promised".

She was left permanently disfigured by a fat-reduction cosmetic procedure that backfired at her and caused her to look unrecognizable.

She was born on May 11, 1965. The once svelte star who graced hundreds of fashion runways in the 90s appeared in 2017 looking quite different from what she was.

She was said that she would not get out of bed for less than ten thousand dollars said the procedure destroyed her livelihood sending her into a spiral of depression and reclusion. Some of her friends and fans came to her defense saying that she looked beautiful no matter what happened.

She said "It increased, not decreased my fat cells and left me permanently deformed even after undergoing two painful, unsuccessful corrective surgeries. I have been left as the media has described 'unrecognizable'. She has filed a case against the company to protect others from making the same mistake she did.
