Activated charcoal: Benefits and Uses

Activated charcoal has been known to be a great antidote for poison but nowadays more and more benefits and uses have been proposed even though there are no or little scientific research and evidence to back these claims. Activated charcoal is gotten from carbon-rich materials such as woods, sawdust, coal, coconut shells, bone char or petroleum. For a charcoal to be activated, it has to be burned at a very high temperature.

What is activated charcoal?

It is now a major ingredient for skin care formulation especially for product such as body and facial scrubs, detoxifying masks and so on

Uses of Activated charcoal
