Almost all ladies want long, strong, shiny hair that can also be easily managed. But as they battle their days with one or too many hair problems and dealing with them with one or too many products and remedies, they tend to forget the part that their daily hair routine and other factors like their diet play the health of our hair.

1. Wash your hair the Correct Way


It is very important to keep your hair clean. But it’s more important to do it the right way! Some of the common mistakes ladies make are washing hair with hot water and applying the shampoo to the hair tips. 

Hot water not only damages the scalp but could also burn your hair leaving it super dry and frizzed out.

2. Massage Your Scalp


A 10-15 minute massage followed by a 10-15 minute hot towel experience will really get the product to penetrate deep in the shaft as well as strengthen the roots.

There is nothing better than a hot oil massage as a starting point to best care for your hair. Using the oil as a catalyst, using the tips of your fingers in a circular motion really helps stimulate the scalp and get the blood circulating.

3. Avoid Washing Your Hair Frequently


Avoid shampooing your hair too frequently. Restrict it to once or twice a week because frequent washing or shampooing more often makes the hair shaft weak. 

And adhere to adequate use of shampoo because some ingredients in a shampoo can strip away your hair’s natural oil in the process of reducing the oiliness and removing the dirt, so it becomes important to not over use shampoo per wash. 

4. Try And Limit The Use Of Heat Styling Tools


Styling tools use heat and that in turn damages your hair making it weak. Should you have to use the heat styling, make sure you use them with enough precautions. You can either chose to use lower heat settings or a cool setting for that matter and try to limit their use to once or twice a week.

5. Your Hair Is What You consume


While Vitamins and minerals are the most important for hair growth, so is a balanced diet. So ladies, if you want your hair to be healthy and strong make sure your diet includes food that has protein, vitamins, especially vitamin A and E. Food rich in Omega 3, iron and zinc are also good for your hair. While at it remember to keep yourself hydrated and drink plenty of water.
