Everyone loves looking flawless with or without make up. However due to harsh weather conditions in Nigeria such as the sun with other chemicals our skin is greatly affected and spots are formed not only from this but also from pimples and acne. So what can you do? Look around you, there are ingredients sitting at home that you may not know off, that can clear your spots away when you add it to your normal skin care routine.
What are these ingredients?
Lemon is rich in vitamin C which makes it an antioxidant. Due to this property it acts as a natural bleaching agent that clears dark spots. Just squeeze the water out, take cotton wool and apply the juice on the affected area leave for 20 minutes and rinse off.
When you use raw honey it clear pimples because of its anti inflammatory property ( prevent the pimples from swelling and getting red). Just apply it to face after it's been washed, leave for 15 minutes and rinse off. Do not wash with water just rinse it off. It can be applied daily because honey is mild and best time to apply it is at night.
To some people garlic is offensive because it has a strong smell. However it is a very strong antibiotics that can dry out pimples. All you need to do is to crush a garlic clove and apply the juice on the affected area, leave for sometime and rinse it out. Ensure you avoid the juice from touching your eyes.
Vitamin E is very good for the skin because it an antioxidant and also speed up the healing process of skin. You can get vitamin E oil and apply to that affected area or break open a capsule of vitamin E and apply it to the affected area.
Oatmeal can be used as a gentle exfoliating scrub which clear dark spots from the face. Just mix water wit oats, make sure the water should is not much so that it forms a paste and apply it to your face. This scrubs absorb oils and lighten spots on the face.
