The last decade was such a memorable and remarkable one in the area of fashion and beauty. It came with different trends and changes in the Nigerian fashion industry.
Some of these trends were completely new, but a majority of them were already in the fashion industry, only that they were redesigned.
In this article, our major focus will be on the clothes and accessories that have trended in the last decade.
2. Ankara: In the last decade, we saw Ankara styled into several outfits, such as suits, jackets, gowns, shirts, etc. We even saw Ankara being used to make handbags, footwear, earrings, and even nails but that's not all. People put on Ankara clothes with sneakers, and they also combined different Ankara prints together in the last decade, and it was so amazing to the eyes, so different from how people wore Ankara in the olden days.
2. Ripped Jeans:
This particular style actually stopped being in Vogue during the early 90s, but there is no doubt that ripped jeans returned with such a new look to the extent that almost every young lady have either a ripped or distressed jean trouser in her wardrobe.
3. Color Contrast
This particular trend made so many people attractive, when it first came back in the early 2010s. It featured some combinations. Later on, it left the fashion scene and came back again, this time with a very sophisticated and classy touch.
