In the world today Bleaching creams are commonly used by individuals looking for ways to make their skin fair which is not supposed to be. Instead of bleaching your skin here are 5 Creams you can use in lightening them.
The local Government Association warns the product should be"avoided at all cost" after recent seizure by trading standard officers. This cream is so dangerous to the skin due to the high content of hydroquinone, and some contains mecury which will probably destroy the skin and it's cell.
The British skin foundation or skin care said that if anyone have a problem or concern with him/her skin they should talk to their doctor or dermatologist. This toxic products are mostly sold by rogue retailers, as well as online and car boot sales and stalls. And they do spell correct level of ingredients, putting costumers at risk.
Hydroquinone being described by the LGA as "the biological equivalent for paint stripper," it can remove the top layer of the skin, increasing the risk of cancer and also attracts disease and bacterials. It can also cause a very fatal liver and kidneys damage. While mecury can cause similar life threatening health problems.
Unless they are issued on prescription by your doctor or dermatologist you are advised to avoid them, for your own health benefits, creams containing hydroquinone, steroid mecury are banned in the UK most countries - because of their potentially serious side effects. In Nigeria, many people use bleaching creams, trying to be light but they don't know the consequences. Creams like Carotone, Perfect white, Carolight are used mainly by the girls who don't want to be light, but yet don't know the consequences.
Please Avoid Bleaching Creams.
In my opinion, I say that all bleaching creams importation to Nigeria should be banned, because it sends great health threat to the nation which the consumer don't know about.
