People want to look well groomed. Bathing, having a haircut and all that to look presentable. But the issue most peoplhave is when they shave their pubic region. Many people complain about how they can't help but itch their pubic regions after a shave hence, they don't bother about shaving. The itching can be very embarrassing especially when you're in public
Shaving gives your skin a temporarily smooth look and feel. But for many people, shaving comes with the side effect of uncomfortable itching. Red bumps from inflammation near your hair pores, called folliculitis, can also crop up after shaving sensitive skin
You see, when you use a razor to get rid of visible hair on your skin, you’re not really removing all your hair you’re just cutting it off close to where it grows. Your hair follicles continue to grow hair underneath your skin, and shaving can cause those follicles to become irritated. It’s this irritation that makes you feel itchy after you shave
The pubic area is among the most prone parts of the body to feeling itchy and because it is a very sensitive area for most, and the hair in that area typically is thicker, making it more noticeably uncomfortable when you feel it growing back.
So here's what you need to do it
Carefully use a pair of scissors or a clipper to trim as much hair as possible before shaving.
Use a warm, damp washcloth. Place it on the area where you have discomfort. Add a little sea salt to it. This should help reduce the itch
Avoid using blunt shaving sticks as they can twist the hairs, causing itching.
Don’t ever shave your skin when it’s dry. Most of us are guilty of this. Soak yourself in water. This will give your skin some extra moisture, open your pores, and make hairs easier to shave.
Now you can shave without having to worry about itching.
