2 Simple ways to make Mayonnaise

Mayonnaise is a cold sauce or dressing made from vegetable oil,raw egg yolks and seasoning used in sandwiches and composed salads and or french fries. Mayonnaise is used in preparation of Sacks like burgers,Salad, sandwiches etc

Mayonnaise contains healthy fats which can help you lower your cholesterol. Mayonnaise is sold in the market from different brand such as Bama,Heinz etc. However you can make Mayonnaise by yourself all you need to do is relax,read and understand as every step counts in making mayonnaise.

Method of Preparation

Ingredients

4 large eggs

450 ml soya oil/vegetable oil

4 tablespoons of lemon juice

1/4 teaspoon of vinegar (Optional but necessary because of raw eggs used)

1/4 teaspoon of mustard (Optional)

Preparation

Blend your eggs and lemon with other ingredients for 10 seconds. Start adding oil as you keep blending until you are satisfied with the taste and thickness of your homemade mayonnaise. Pour already made mayonnaise in a clean container.

Let the mayonnaise stand for a while to enable the vinegar kill any bacteria in the raw egg before storing for use. Your mayonnaise is ready

Note: Due to Salmonella infection,raw egg is not advisable for consumption that's why we add vinegar to kill the bacteria in the raw egg and make the Mayonnaise healthy for consumption.

Ingredients

Egg

Lemon Juice

Vinegar

Vegetable oil

Salt to taste

Mustard

Sugar

Preparation

Mix egg yolks, vinegar, salt, mustard, sugar, white pepper and lemon juice in a mixing bowl with a hand mixer.

Slowly add oil and continue mixing till you are satisfied with the taste and thickness. Your mayonnaise is ready.
