There is nothing wrong with wanting to dress nicely for the office. If you want to slay while at the office, then you should take note of what you should and should not do when dressing for work.
1. Try wearing pantyhose with your outfits. Wearing pantyhose is something that not a lot of ladies do, but you should try it while dressing for work. If you are conscious about scars, marks or discoloration on your legs then you should wear a pantyhose. Pantyhose also have good benefits on the skin, wearing pantyhose helps to circulate blood around your leg and also prevents your leg from swelling, this is very important and useful for ladies who have to sit for a long period of time at work. You don’t have to worry about color because pantyhose come in different colors and sizes, you just have to pick the one that suits you.
2. Avoid overdressing when going to work. Just because you have to look good doesn’t mean you should put yourself in the spotlight or dress like you are going for a fashion show. Overdressing draws too much attention to you and in the office environment where you have a boss or superiors, it might look as if you are trying to show off.
3. You don’t have to wear heels all the time. Stiletto heels are very common for women who work in offices but if you don’t feel comfortable in them, then it is best you avoid them. instead, invest in quality pairs of flat shoes. If you still want to wear heels but don’t want to wear the pointed thin heel, then you can invest in low heels with thick soles for ease and comfort.
4. Avoid wearing overly casual clothes. Usually on Fridays many workplaces allow their employees to ditch the professional look, however, you should not abuse this privilege. Do not wear ripped jeans or slippers to work all in the name of casual dressing. There casual office outfits you can wear to work. Putting on clothes like ripped jeans, slippers and even hoodies, doesn’t speak well of you in a work environment.
