Healthy Skin: You can change these bad habits to have a pimple-free face and body

Fine-looking, healthy, pimple-free skin is a dream for most of us. We admire women with smooth faces and skin.

The two main causes of pimples are hormones and heredity and these two are not under our control. But you can level up your daily routine to improve your skin’s appearance.

Revamp your skin care bad habits to prevent pimples and enjoy the healthy glow of good-looking skin.

Pimples occur when bacteria, oil, and dead skin cells clog hair follicles. Those with oily skin may be more prone to pimples but practicing good habits can still help you achieve that glow.

Here are some bad habits that can take a toll on your pimple-prone skin, causing pimples and blemishes:

Getting hair products on your face

It's vital to keep hair gel, spray, or other hair products off your face to prevent them from blocking your pores. Try to cover your face when applying these products to keep them off your skin while washing your hair or bathing.

Eating oily foods

The food that you eat may not cause pimples, but oily foods can make your skin worse because of the excess oil and grease that can get on the skin from the food itself. Try to stick to a healthy diet without too much oil, limit eating fried foods to spare your skin and overall health.

Having a sweaty skin

After you've had an intensive workout or been outdoors in the hot sun, your skin may be covered with sweat. Avoid letting it dry on your skin, however, quickly bathe or wash your skin immediately after sweating.

Picking at your skin and bursting your pimples

Although it may be irresistible to burst your pimples, these behaviours can cause increased redness due to squeezing the pus deeper into the skin and sometimes even scarring your face. Rather, keep your hands off your face and let pimples go back down to size with the help of a blemish removal cream.

Scrubbing your skin intensely

Scrubbing your skin with a sponge or harsh exfoliant will cause obvious irritation and may worsen your face and skin. To prevent pimples from coming out, always wash with only warm water and a gentle face soap or wash.
