Many people today most especially women are too scared of growing old. They feel like they are no longer pretty and attractive to people around them so they use diverse means like surgeries, and make-up to prolong their youthful looks.
Some women also undergo surgeries because they believe that their means of livelihood depend on their beauty and nice body shape. But the truth is that old age is a gift and also a blessing from and God we should not try to make it go away because it is inevitable.
Media personally Reno Omokiri made a tweet on this earlier. According to him, People should not be ashamed of their age simply because they are getting old instead they should learn to accept old age because it is a blessing from God.
In his words,
Stop lying about your age. If you are blessed enough to get old, do not hide it with makeup and surgeries instead celebrate it. Growing old is a privilege denied to billions.
God granted it to you and instead of being proud of it, you are ashamed of the blessing.
