Are you still buying 'Boli' from road side vendors? Start making your own with these amazing steps

Bole is a popular food in Nigeria known as roasted plantain, its name is derived from Yorubas, it is also popular in the southern part of Nigeria and can be eaten with fish or pepper sauce.

Ripe/ Unripe plantain (As much  as you like), Fresh fish, salt, pepper.

Steps involved in preparing bole

Step 1: Usually, Bole is made locally on the streets using a charcoal grill. For this I use a grill at home. To make boluses, preheat the grill to a temperature between 160 ° C and 200 ° C.

Step 2: Wash and peel the plantain skin and place the plantains on the grill rack. The rack should be placed very close to the burner.

Step 3: Grill for about 7-10 minutes on each side. Make sure you check back and forth from time to time and turn the plantains on all sides to make sure all of the portions are evenly toasted.

Step 4: During frying, you can also season and roast the fish next to the plantains.

Step 5: once it's done, serve it with pepper sauce and grilled fish. Wash it off with a hot or cold drink.
