See how to make Chin-chin with just 5 ingredients at home

RECIPE:

4 cups of raw groundnut

4 cups of flour

12 tablespoons of sugar

4 eggs

1 teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon baking powder

2 tablespoons powdered milk.

Instructions:

1)Select the bad ones out of your groundnut, soak a little with warm water and some salt to remove dirt's and sand. Spread on a tray and sun dry.

2)Get a wide bowl and pour the groundnut. This is where all other ingredients will still enter.

3)Crack the eggs in a bowl and mix well till foamy, pour the sugar and mix till dissolved.

4)In another bowl, sift the flour, baking powder, milk and salt and mix together.

5)Pour like 2 spoons of the egg-sugar mix into the groundnut and mix by shaking the bowl in a circular motion till the groundnuts are coated.

6)Pour a handful of flour mixture into the groundnut and mix as well till all coated.

7)Don't mix with hand, just be shaking the bowl. But if there are any groundnuts stuck together, use your hand to separate them and continue shaking.

8)Repeat this until you've exhausted all the egg mix and flour.

9)Heat your vegetable oil and deep fry on medium heat and stir until golden in color.

10)The fire/heat shouldn't be too much so that the groundnut inside can cook well before the outside turns brown.
