Are You A Lover Of Cakes? Then Try This Egg-less Black Forest Cake

A good Blackforest Cake should be perfectly moist and melt in your mouth delicious. I hate to eat a dry Blackforest Cake, however impressive it seems to look.

This recipe bakes a really moist chocolate cake which is then soaked in a cherry syrup spiked with brandy. This is the same syrup in which the cherries are soaked in the tin. I used Delmonte cherries


1. 1 tsp of Vanilla Essence 

2. 1 cup u All Purpose Flour

3. 3/4 cup of Sugar 

4. Unsalted Butter 

5. 3 Eggs 

6. 1 tsp of Baking Powder 

7. 1/4 tsp of Salt 

8. 1/2 cup of Cocoa Powder

Step by step instructions:

1. First of all pre heat the oven to 170 degrees C.

2. Oil your cake pan and dust with flour then set aside.

3. In a clean bowl sieve your flour, cocoa powder, salt and baking powder.

4. Sieve well and then set it aside.

5. In another clean bowl, put your butter, sugar, vanilla then mic it together.

6. In the mixture add your egg and mix to form a smooth batter.

7. Add the dry mixture into the wet mixture. Then mix well to form a smooth batter.

8. Pour your batter into your cake pan which you set aside.

9. Bake in the already pre heated oven. When it has done allow to cool.

10. With peeler shave some chocolate.

11. Whip up some cream.

12. Remove the seeds of your cherries and break them into pieces.

13. Use the cherries juice to soak the cake.

14. Spread some cream on the cake evenly.

15. Place some of the cherries on the cake.

16. Spread the remaining cream all over the cake, then you can complete the remaining the decorations using the pictures below
