How to prepare Garlic Prawn and Pasta


2tbs olive oil. 

1kg peeled and deveined tiger prawns.  

3 cloves garlic crushed.

Salt and pepper.  

 2tbs olive oil.

1 red capsicum sliced.

1 punnet or 250g cherry tomatoes sliced in half.

1-2 chili bullets sliced (optional).

6 cloves garlic crushed.  

1/2 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice. 

Zest of 1 lemon.



1/2 cup chopped parsley (reserve 1/3 for after u add pasta).

500g pasta(cook according to packet).

Method of Preparation:

Step 1: bring a pot of water to a boil. Season with salt and add spaghetti. Stir, then cook for 8 minutes. Drain, save 1/4 cup of pasta water and keep warm.

Step 2: In the meantime, heat the oil in a large pan over low heat and fry the prawns for 1 minute. Take out of the pan once cooked. Add tomatoes, peppers and chilli and mix well. Let simmer for 2 minutes. Add garlic and mix.

Step 3: add parsley, then add shrimp and lemon juice and zest. Let simmer for 2 minutes. Add salt and pepper. Add pasta and oil and stir. Take off the stove. Add the rest of the parsley and serve hot oil and add garlic.
