Ageing is part of our normal life . However , some age faster than others due to some environmental factors and habits they engage themselves . This factors include the kind of food we eat ( not reached with vitamins), the kind of drink , the air we breath in( polluted air) and some habits we engage ourselves to please our own selves like smoking . All the factors mentioned above points to a common factor that speeds up the process of ageing of an individual . The common factor that speeds up ageing is a unstable substance that is produced in our body as a result of those factors mentioned above .

The unstable substance that is produced in our body due to environmental factors is called free radicals . Free radicals are produced in our body every day , however, some substances play a role in removal of this free radicals and they are called Antioxidants . So therefore , the foods we are going to discuss are foods reach in antioxidants and of course , helps in the removal of free radicals and thus , makes someone younger and healthier than it's pairs in age

1 . Olive oil : Yes, the fresh olive oil that is gotten from the fruit of olive tree is an important anti - ageing agent . It has high level of mono unsaturated fat called oleic acid that has anti- inflammatory effect . The anti- inflammatory effect of fresh olive oil is compared to that of Ibuprofen . Olive oil also help in removal of free radicals , that speeds up ageing in an individual .

2. Vegetables : Green vegetables contains high level of vitamins A, C, E . And the vitamins mentioned are potent antioxidants that helps in removal of free radicals .

3. Fruits: Fruits also contain vitamins , which serve as antioxidants .

4. Green Tea : Green tea has specific type of antioxidant that also helps in removal of free radicals .

5. Fatty fish : Fish fat is the best fat for consumption as it contains low levels of bad fats such as cholesterol ,low density lipoprotein and high level of good fat ( High density lipoprotein) . Example of fish with such fat is salmon fish

6. Dark Chocolate : Dark chocolate or cocoa also contain a specific type of antioxidant that helps in removal of free radicals .

7. Avocado : Avocado , apart from its delicious taste , it also plays a major role in removal of free radicals .
