"Health is wealth" says a popular adage.

And because of my concern towards the well-being of others, I have decided to share these ten foods that help you boost your immune system

And they are actually in no particular order.

1. Papaya, popularly known as pawpaw.

Papaya is loaded with Vitamin C and essential antioxidants which help in digestion.

2. Garlic

Garlic I otherwise known as (Immunity boosting superstar)

It contains a lot essential nutrients such as calcium, potassium and it is powerful enough to wipe out infections.

It also lowers blood pressure and cholesterol levels in man.

3. Green tea

Green teas have a special antioxidant that helps to protect the body against infections.


4. Broccoli

Broccoli is very rich in Vitamin A, C and E.

These vitamins are overly essential in the boosting of the Immune System.

5. Ginger

Ginger is actually more benefiting than most people think.

If there is one food item you should never lack in the house, then it is Ginger.

It decreases inflammation, sore throat, joint paints, and it also cures nauseous feeling.

6. Spinach

It is a vegetable that is very rich in Antioxidants. It also has calcium, iron, magnesium and vitamin folate in large quantity.


7. Citrus fruits

When you talk about citrus fruits, fruits such as orange, lemon, tangerine, grape etc, come to mind.

It is rich in Vitamin C which is essential in fighting infection.

8. Red Peppers

It contains vitamin C, beta carotene which is essential for good eye sight.


9. Apples

It also contains pectin type of fibre which helps to fight bacteria.
