These days, we get to see and hear about a lot of awful stories, all over the internet and various social media platforms, about people who got involved in a gas explosion while cooking with gas cylinders, in their homes. No doubt, cooking with gas cylinder is becoming more and more popular and rampant.
Most people have stopped using the usual or traditional methods of cooking with firewood and stove and have adopted the foreign style usage of gas cylinders into their homes. However, some individuals do not know how deadly or dangerous using gas can be, especially if you're not following the right protocols.

1. Answering a phone call while standing close to a cooking gas.
Our phones has a lot of radiation emanating from it and it can be very dangerous enough to explode or cause an explosion when it is very close to a cooking gas. Especially while a person is answering a phone call. Please never try this.
2. Shaking or moving a gas from one place to another while cooking.
Some people are very fond of doing this, they move or shake a gas from one place to another while it is still on and even have a pot on top of it. Moving a cooking gas could trigger it to explode. Please avoid touching or moving a cooking gas if you want to live long.
3. Playing and running around close to a cooking gas.
This one is one of the major things that causes a gas explosion. Children or sometimes even adults tend to play around too much even when a cooking gas is on to the brim. Please avoid playing close to a gas. It is very dangerous.
4. Spraying flammable perfumes, insecticides, air freshener and others close to a cooking gas.
Some people make the mistake of spraying substance that are highly flammable close to a cooking gas. You might see a cockroach or bug close to your cooking pot and you decided to kill it, by spraying it insecticide, trust me, your body and home is going to blow up in pieces. Never try this.
5. Leaving oil in a pot for a long time on top a cooking gas.
Some people are very fond of doing this, leaving oil in a pot for long and going out to press their phones or watch TV. Red oil or groundnut oil are very flammable if they are left in a pot for a long time. It can provoke a fire to start on the pot and if you're using a gas, then trust me, you're in trouble.
6. Using a candle for light near a cooking gas.
Some individuals suffer from the issue of light or electricity shortages and therefore if they want to cook at night, they end up using a candle to see instead of using a touch. This is totally wrong. On no account should you carry a candle near your cooking gas, it is very dangerous.
