How to prepare chin-chin from the comfort of your home

Chin-Chin is a popular snack in Nigeria,it is loved because of it's crisp and crunchy taste and nature.The unique thing about chin-chin,is that it can last up to four weeks,before going bad compared to other snacks that last for a day.Chin-chin can be eaten alone or eaten with fruits or soft drink.In this article,I am going to show you how you can prepare chin-chin from the comfort of your home.Recipe:Flour,Milk(liquid or powdered),Sugar,Eggs,Margarine, Grounded nutmeg,baking powder,vegetable oil and water.

Procedures

-Break the eggs in a bowl and beat it thoroughly.

-Pour the sugar into the bowl of eggs,add your milk and beat thoroughly.

-Now,in a larger bowl,add the flour,baking powder,salt and grounded nutmeg.Mix very well and add your margarine.

-Now mix thoroughly with your hands,until it becomes like crumbs of bread.

-Then add the eggs-milk-sugar mixture into the bowl and mix very well,until it becomes a smooth but stiff dough. If you are using a powdered milk,you add a little water to maintain the consistency and smoothness.

-Sprinkle flour on a flat surface,place your stiff dough and cut into desirable shapes.Note that the dough becomes bigger in size when placed in hot oil,so do not cut it too big.

-Heat up your vegetable oil and fry the dough,continue stirring until it becomes golden brown.

-Transfer the chin-chin into a container or pan and leave it to cool,enjoy with any drink of your choice.Please do not forget to like,share,comment and follow me,thanks
