Garri as we all know is an african food it can be consumed in different ways such as drinking it ( just add water method), making eba with it a common Nigerian food
, garri salad
Garri jollof
etc.
Today i will teach you a new recipe to try with your Garri. I call it Garri akara.
Ingredients needed.
1. Garri
2. Egg
3. Vegetable oil
4. Salt
5. Sugar
6. Chilli pepper
Preparation method.
Measure 2 cups of garri into a clean bowl, add one spoonful of Sugar, a pinch of salt and a little water then stir it.
In another clean bowl break four eggs into it and add a pinch of salt to it and whisk it very well.
Pour the egg mixture into the bowl of garri and mix it very well until it is even.
Chop you chilli pepper into smaller pieces and add it to the bowl of garri mix and stir together.
Wash your frying pan and put it on the cooking stove turn on the heat and wait till the little water in the frying pan drys, then pour your vegetable oil in it leave it until its hot.
Start putting the garri mix in balls into the frying pan and fry.
wait until it turns a little brown which means its read, then remove it from the frying pan.
Your delicious Garri Akara is ready to be served with anything that suit your appetite. the crumbs are also delicious
