5 Ingredients used in Making Lablabi


Lablabi is a dish Eaten popularly in Tunisia. It is a chicken pea soup and Lablabi goes perfectly with crusty bread. Lablabi can be paired with Tomato Stew, eggs, rice etc


Here are some ingredients used in Making Lablabi


1. Chicken peas

Chicken peas are beige in colour, they are small and round and are legumes. The chicken peas are soaked for some hours or overnight before used in cooking Lablabi


2. Oil

The oil could either be soya oil, peanut oil or olive oil. The oil is used to fry the other ingredients like onions and garlic.


3. Lemon Juice

Lemon juice are extracted from lemons, and added to Lablabi for extra tastefulness and flavour.


4. Onions

The onions are chopped and then fried with the preferred oil alongside other ingredients like garlic etc


5. Garlic

Garlic is added for as extra seasoning and for more taste and flavour
