How To Prepare Delicious Plantain Frittata At Home With The Ingredients In Your Kitchen

Plantain frittata is a simple and delicious food that can be eaten in place of our common foods in order to taste another variety of food. Here is simple way to make yummy plantain frittata;


3 ripe plantain

5 eggs

4 hot dogs or 4 small sized sausages

3 medium sized tomatoes

2 red bell peppers

2 green peppers

1 yellow bell pepper

1 tsp dry pepper

1 medium sized onion

1 stock cube

1/2 tsp of curry

1/2 tsp of thyme

2 tablespoon of vegetable oil

1 pinch of salt


Step 1 - Fry your plantain and set aside

Step 2 - Place your pan on fire,add about 2 tablespoon of vegetable oil, sauté onion for one minute. Add sausages and stir,fry for few minutes ,followed with bell peppers and tomatoes. Season with curry,dry pepper , thyme, 1 stock cube and a pinch of salt to taste and set aside to cool.

Step 3 - Beat your eggs in a bowl and whisk, transfer the content in the frying pan into the egg.

Step 4 - In an empty pan, spray some oils to coat the pan , pour the egg mixture into the pan , arrange the fried plantains round the pan until it takes the shape of the pan.

Step 6 - Add few bell pepper stripes for a pop of colour, cover with lid and cook on low heat for 20 minutes until it begins to set and cake nicely.

Take it off the heat once it has set. Your plantain frittata is ready.
