Tiger nut milk is gotten from tiger nut which is an alternative to cow milk. Tiger nuts milk has a lot of health benefits ranging from control of blood sugar levels,weight managements and many more.
In our previous article,we looked at the health benefits and uses of tiger nuts,but In this article,we will be looking at easy steps on how to prepare tiger nuts milk.
*Dates Or Honey(Optional)
If you want the milk creamy,you can add coconut,all depending on what you want.
Wash and soak tiger nuts for 6 to 12 hours. But if you are using fresh tiger nuts,then there is no need to soak it just skip to step 2.
Filter the soaked tiger nuts,pour into a blender and add water to it.
Add dates and coconut to the blender,if using it,if not skip to step 4.
Blend it until its smooth.
Filter the smoothie using a muslin cloth.
Squeeze the muslin cloth to bring out the milk.
Pour the milk into a container and store in the fridge.
Always shake tiger nut milk very well before using it.
