For women, new modern way of preparing Ewedu, Gbegiri and melon soup

EWEDU SOUP:

INGREDIENTS:Ewedu leaves, potash, salt, seasonings, grindy melon.

METHOD;

Slice the Ewedu leaves, put it in a pot and add potash, add a little water to it and beat the leaves with a short strong neat broom to blend into liquid with water.

Add the egusi, salt and seasoning to it and allow it to boil for 10 minutes, and you can serve with amala semovita, Eba or fufu.

GBEGIRI SOUP:

INGREDIENTS; beans, onion, potash, seasoning, salt, water, pepper, palm oil.

METHOD:

Soak the beans in a bowl of water, and wash out the shaft and pour into a pot cook for about 20 minutes. Use a short strong neat broom to mash it till soft add the onions, seasoning, pepper and palm oil and allow it to steam do about 10 minutes. Add salt to taste.

MELON SOUP:

INGREDIENTS; Melon, meat, pepper, onion seasoning, pumpkin, crayfish, palm oil and stock fish.METHOD;

Use a pot to heat the oil, clean the stock fish and boil in another pot with onion till soft add meat to it and allow to boil for 30 minutes. Then add onion, pepper, seasoning, grounded melon, crayfish to the heated oil and allow to steam for 1 minute. Pour in the cooked ingredients into the fried ones and allow to boil for 10 minutes. Add pumpkin and salt to taste and allow to simmer for 5 minutes.
