Many of us, fear being overweight, this is why many Nigerians indulge in artificial drugs in other to keep their weight in check. But this is improper, there are other ways in which you can keep your weight in check. There are some Nigerian delicacies that can help us keep our weight in check and also allow us eat it as much as we want. Some of these Nigerian delicacies are:

1. Okra pepper soup and Amala

Okra pepper soup and Amala is a perfect combination, if you intend to keep your weight in check. This is because Amala is made with plantain floor, this means it has no weight adding attributes in it.

2. Fried Basmati rice and chicken or fish

Vegetables used in preparing fired rice helps in keeping your weight in check. Fish or chicken as recommended by experts have the ability to break down in to healthy components in our body. But cow meat breaks down into fat.

3. Goat Meat pepper and Agidi

It is advisable that when you want to prepare a pepper soup, use either goat Meat, fish or chicken, this is because they are more healthy than cow meat. Pepper soup on the other hand contains fat burning contents. Agidi, as many of us know is made from whole grains, this means it is very healthy for the body.

4. Unripe plantain and Chicken pepper

Meat used in peppering any pepper soup should be either chicken, goat or fish. Plantain has a lot of health benefits attached to it. But adding of weight is not one of its duties.

5. Basmati rice and Chicken Sauce

I have been talking about Basmati rice, but what are Basmati rice?, Basmati rice is a special type of long grain rice that has low starch content and several health benefits. Chicken Sauce is made with vegetables, which is safe to eat and maintains your weight.
