If you're looking to lose 4-5kgs in 2-3 weeks, then you've come to the right place. Losing weight has never been an easy task, but adding these drinks to your daily workout routine and diet plans will greatly improve weight loss.
These drinks do not only hasten weight loss but they also boost your body's metabolism and improve digestion. So, if you're looking to burn belly fat, these drinks will be very helpful.
Here are five drinks that will boost metabolism and help you lose weight faster :
Green Tea is known for its stimulating properties because of the caffeine that is present in it. This helps to burn fat and improve exercise performance. Green Tea also possesses antioxidants called catechins that help to mobilize fat.
Mint on the other hand has digestive properties as it stimulates digestive enzymes that aid digestion and absorption of nutrients.
Once your body is able to metabolize quickly, then your weight loss process will definitely speed up.
2tablespoons green tea leaves
6-7 mint leaves
a cup of hot water
Take a deep-bottomed pan and add one cup of water and mint leaves and bring it to a boil.
Let it boil for 5 more minutes.
Now, add green tea leaves and let them soak for 5 minutes.
With a help of a strainer/sieve, strain and pour the boiled water into a tea cup. Stir this weight loss drink before drinking.
2. Pineapple, cinnamon and lime juice :
Bromelain is an active enzyme in pineapple which helps to improve metabolism, reduce bloating and inflammation.
The second ingredient, cinnamon helps to suppress appetite and lower blood sugar level.
Lime which is rich in vitamin C and antioxidants helps to regulate appetite and body weight.
1 1/2 cup of pineapple juice
1 teaspoon of cinnamon powder
2 1/2 teaspoon of lime juice
Pour the pineapple juice, cinnamon powder and lime juice into a cup and stir.
You can add a pinch of salt to add taste to the drink.
Drink on an empty stomach in the morning.
3. Turmeric tonic :
This is my personal favorite. Turmeric helps to reduce growth of fat tissue. Orange contains vitamin C which helps to boost immunity, regulate appetite and satiety. Black pepper helps your body absorb all the nutrients contained in turmeric.
1 1/2 tablespoon of turmeric powder.
1/2 cup of orange juice.
1/4 tea spoon of black pepper
1/2 tablespoon of ginger powder
Pour all the ingredients into a cup and stir thoroughly. Then add the black pepper. This drink can be taken at any time of the day, as breakfast, or as a midday snack.
4. Strawberry and mango Smoothie :
This tonic comprises of a variety of different ingredients ranging from strawberry, coconut water, to mango. This tonic helps regulate blood sugar, reduce appetite, increase body heat, burn calories, and in essence help you lose weight.
1/2 cup of strawberry juice
1/2 cup mango juice
1/4 tablespoon of cayenne pepper
1/4 cup of coconut water
1 teaspoon of cinnamon powder
To make strawberry juice, cut your strawberries and blend them until smooth. Peel your mangoes and blend also. Turn into a cup and add the coconut water, cinnamon powder. Sprinkle the cayenne pepper and mix thoroughly.
The strawberry and mango smoothie can be taken at anytime of the day.
The usefulness of water in digestion and metabolism cannot be overemphasized. Drinking plenty of water will help to keep you full between meals and hence help to increase the amount of calories you burn.
Water is actually the fastest and cheapest metabolism booster there is. So, if you want to have a flat tummy, drink at least 10 glasses of water each day.
